WebApr 13, 2024 · When it's cold out i get a pain deeper in the sternum. I'm a year and a half out. I'm 2 years into the bypass n still have tingling n tightness over the chest scar. I also developed keloids along the scar and hence pain is quite normal especially lying down. So I guess it's all part n parcel of life after bypass. WebA keloid scar is a thick elevated scar.
