Humanists reject all forms of ideological rigidity that do not open themselves to question and criticism. WebHumanism certainly is a worldview in the same way that the world religions can be seen as worldviews. If a secular humanist is asked what religion they are, they might simply answer that “I’m a Humanist” or “I’m a secular humanist” without correcting the faulty assumption the question is framed in because it’s a common colloquial expression.
