WebJun 5, 2024 · FTD is a unified software (mean its a combination of ASA code and Snort) you can get the same thing with either running the FTD or ASA with SFR. having said that, if you have a large deployment where the firewall is heavily used and you are more focused on security. than FTD is more better way to use (that my opinion).
