WebOct 18, 2024 · Remove the separate Connector X107 from the Windscreen Pump (M4) and test for 12V+ at Pin #1 of X107 (Black wire), and also Continuity to ground at Pin #2 (Brown wire). If those tests show voltage & ground, then pump is likely bad, assuming connector pins/sockets are clean & making good contact. WebOct 22, 2024 · As a quick check, try disconnecting the tubes from the jets then fire the washers - if the water shoots out, you know the jets are blocked. That's a good shout 120, will do. Dave1 said: Best approach is to remove the reservoir and clean it out fully. This happened a lot to the 1 series in the early days.

There is a very very limited adjustment, I'm guessing around 4-6°. If adjusted too high, it will slightly hit the edge of the hood. A bit of persuasion with a pin and some sucking and blowing should clear it easily. It then just pushes back in, again, a fair bit of force needs to be applied to bottom it out in the metal tube.
